BOTTLING NOTE
This is an incredibly rare Tomatin, in fact there are just 560 bottles, which are likely to sell about by the time we finish writing this sentence… This was distilled in 1982, and it was aged in cask 92, a refill sherry puncheon.
TASTING NOTE
Aroma – Soft and honeyed with gentle hints of aniseed. Darjeeling Tea leaves, banoffee pie with a minty undertone.
Taste – Rich , sweet and mellow. Gently toasted hazelnuts and almonds, stewed plums giving way to subtle oaky flavours.
Finish – Subtle and creamy with a hint of coconut.
