- Tasting Note: Bright salmon in colour, the wine delivers great aromatic freshness, with attractive notes of wild berry fruit nicely combined with elegant floral hints. Very appealing on the palate, showing good volume and a polished structure made up of soft-textured tannins and vibrant minerality. This is an engaging and balanced wine, with a refreshing finish.
- Food Matching: Perfect to drink on its own under the summer sun, as well as a versatile companion to salads, fish and white meat dishes.
- Vineyard: 2017 was a year of lower yields, with fewer bunches of smaller grapes, but that had excellent concentration and an optimal skin to pulp ratio. This was a challenging year for the viticulture and winemaking teams, that required timing the harvest to perfection in order to ensure maximum quality.
- Vinification: The grapes, chosen from selected plots, are taken to the winery in 22 kg plastic boxes. On arrival in the winery they are rigorously inspected on a sorting table and they are then destemmed and gently pressed. Only the free run juice is used. It is sent to stainless steel tanks where it remains for 48 hours at 8ºC for sedimentation. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 14ºC for 30 days.
